sample fitness program
Hi Pamela,
can you specify the target demographics. You can find any number of fitness programs on the internet and in books.
What should make us, as trainers, unique is that we have the ability to assess a client and create a program that is for their abilities, not a generic sample.

I teach a college level Fitness Conditioning course. A requirement for my students is to design an individualized fitness/workout program they can follow each week. I am looking for an outline or skeleton of something they can use to help fill in the blanks and a guide. Something that will cover the components of fitness, include their results from fitness assessments to improve or maintain and to achieve optimal physical fitness.
Yes, college level fitness classes. I am looking for an outline or graph that students can use to produce a week long workout that meets their individual needs and covers the key components of fitness. They will use their personal results from fitness tests to set goals to achieve optimal fitness.
Hi Pamela,
The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) has a few different resources for programming, including a workout template and monthly/annual program plan. Take a look at the link below.
Also, it might help to do some research on their OPT Training Model.

Hope this helps!
