does anyone have any advice or has implemented a strength training program for individuals training for road races over a 5k? Particularly something that is functional and not just old school sets and reps of leg exercises.
This is great feedback! I appreciate your responses. I have been incorporating a lot of single-leg exercises with the trx, BOSU, and dyna discs. I will start taking advantage of the Hawaii elements now that I am becoming more familiar with the island!
