I recently heard of a person that was hospitalized from an intense exercise session from a personal trainer. Unfortunately, that person was diagnosed with ” Rhabdomyolysis”.
Treatment in the hospital was multiple encisions in the skin to let the muscle swell to relieve pain and stress on the muscle and skin. Once the muscle recovered, skin was sutured.
Has anyone heard of similar cases?
I have heard of it, but never met anyone who had it. It can be pretty serious if not treated. A good trainer can make the difference when it comes to designing a well planned training program that is customized for the intended client only. I hope the person you know recovers form this with no further complications.
