If I attend the Fitness Convention in August and take the SPINN session do i need to be a certified Fitness Instructor to teach a Spinn class or will this session I take be enough to be certified to teach a SPINN Class?
I am not a certified fitness instructor but I do train and compete in endurance events. Eventually I would like to teach Spinn Classes but I would like to know if the session offered at the convention would allow me to become a certified Spinn instructor.
there are a few pre-conference certifications to become an instructor for indoor cycling. Those are all-day events and are marketed and priced so that you will be a certified instructor for that particular brand of indoor cycling at the end of it.
Indoor cycling has become a rather odd thing with different companies offering certifications but only one of them actually being ‘Spinning’ as a protected name.
Just attending an hour-long session during the conference will not make you a certified instructor for any modality but the pre-conferences will.
