Recent Bachelor’s degree graduate – Sports and exercise science, where to start my career?
I Graduated at a University in Cape Town, South Africa in September 2014 with BA Sports and Exercise Science Degree. I now reside in Virginia on a sponsored visa. What are the best options for me to study further, obtain further certifications or qualifications in any field relating to the Sports and Exercise Sciences field? Where could I apply for a start up career in the US with my current Degree?
Hi Brent,
if you are contemplating a career in the fitness field as a trainer, it would be a good idea to get a personal trainer certification from a highly regarded organization such as ACSM, ACE or NASM. If you have clinical interest, it would have to be ACSM.
At least the clubs I know of require such a certification even if you have a degree in exercise science. The rationale is that you have to obtain CEUs for a certification but not for a degree. A certification is also required to obtain professional liability insurance.
Wish you good luck.

I had a familiar situation, too. It was a career question, but during university. Watching the senior students and their rapid growth in sports, I wanted the same. It’s hard to combine study and promotion professionally. A long search on the Internet led me to the site, check it out, which provides reviews of best essay writing service. I didn’t have to spend much time looking for essay writing services. Now I have already graduated and continued my career at a more professional level.
I have no idea about the sports degree but you can apply in a well-structured organization in the USA that is health-conscious and promote fitness in the organization culture. So, you can apply there for the position of Fitness Trainer. While I also suggest that you should do some extra research on the internet because when I’m stuck in any coursework in my academy then I prefer to take nursing coursework help at BritishCoursework UK that is the only best platform for your nursing coursework or assignments…
