plyometric training
Elaine,
it will be helpful if you are a little more specific with your question.

Continuing what Danielle has said, again pending more details on your question, some additional general information: plyometrics are used primarily to develop power. There are low-level plyos such as low skipping, and high level, high-intensity plyos like box jumps or depth drops. As Danielle has pointed out, they are not for everyone (for example those with orthopedic issues are not good candidates for most plyo exercise), and generally speaking you want to develop a good base of strength before moving on to plyometric exercise.

Full body plyometric workouts are a great way to say in shape and look great!…Traditional plyometric training exercises mainly target the lower body…It is important to incorporate plyometric training for your upper body as well!…There are numerous ways to target your upper body when conducting plyometric training such as explosive push-ups and pull-ups. Implementing creative, full-body plyometric training will engage your core from different angles resulting in a stronger, more defined mid section and striated muscular appearance.
