I am currently using Suunto m4/m5 heart rate monitors with my clients. One feature they don’t have is the ability to track the time spent in each heart rate zone. I was wondering if some personal trainers out there have a solution they really like for tracking data such as this.
I prefer the talk test and RPE
Heart rate monitors are great for some populations but they can be a burden at times.
Obviously it is best to follow ACSM guidelines and to use a HRMoniter if your client has risk factors.
