Personal Trainers: Have you… or would you… reduce your hourly rate for an existing client to keep the client?

Hi Matthew,
I have done so under exceptional circumstances and with the understanding that this was temporary. The example I have is a client who has lost her job and was very stressed about no being able to find another one easily. She had been a client for years, and I knew that it was extremely important for her well-being to continue to exercise (and have the counseling that goes along with personal training). After she had a new job, she started paying regular rates.
