personal trainer software
It is interesting that my comment that is just advice on focusing on what someone might need from software suddenly gets 7 thumbs down right after one that gets 8 thumbs up is post promoting a specific website. And that recent comment sounds more like a commercial than an unbiased unsolicited endorsement.
My colleague recently showed me┬áhttp://www.fitsw.com┬áto help me manage my training business. I like it because it’s FREE and has a lot of features to help with managing client progress (cool graphs!), and a lot of features to manage workouts, diet etc. I can even integrate workout demo’s into the workouts for my clients. I’d give you more description of other cool features I use but I need to head over to the grocery store.┬á
The one thing they could work on is the look (not a fan of their colors) but I’m able to get past it with all the features and its ability to increase my efficiency and allow me to manage more clients easily.
Hi Janis,
I’m in the process of setting up a website where yoga teachers and personal trainers can upload audios of their classes for free. Each time someone clicks on one of your audios you will make money.
It’s a great way of creating “passive income streams” simply by connecting a ┬ú45 lavilier microphone to a smartphone and clicking the record button.
It can quickly morph into a pretty nifty “online training program” for your students. For example, if one of your students is struggling with sleeping and you’ve recorded a class called: “15 minute nighttime yoga routine to help you sleep like a baby”, you could simply let the student know how to access it online.
Here’s another example…
If one of your students approaches you with an issue (e.g. lower back pain), when you get home you could whip out your phone, insert the lavilier microphone, record yourself doing a 15 minute “yoga for lower back routine”, upload it to the website and then send an email to your student letting them know its available online. This way you not only created a raving fan (who will start sending you lots of lovely referrals), you’ve also created a passive income stream (people all over the world will be able to download or stream the audio).
If this “record your yoga and personal training classes” sounds interesting, you can find out more here: http://selfgrowthseeds.com or email me at [email protected].
Om Shanti,

I have not tried this software yet but i will be soon. They offer free 30 days to try it out. I have heard a lot of great things from this software. Here is the website.

But Martin has a good point. Figure out what you want or don’t want and go from there. Good luck.
