Personal Trainer Insurance
I have recently left the facility I was working at to branch out onto my own. I am aware of the need to insure myself I’m just very confused as to what insurance is the best. If anyone could possibly throw me a lifeline I’d be forever grateful. I need it ASAP as some of my clients have come with me and want to resume training soon. Thanks in advance for any good leads on insurance.
Hi Chris,
This is the one I use and I’m very happy with them:

Feel free to contact them for a quote and for services they provide.
Best,

Hi Chris,
same here as Harris. Have been using them ever since I have been in business. Unless you have a studio, you need the personal trainer insurance. If you have a studio, you will need a different coverage. Both are available from the Fitness & Wellness Insurance which is associated with IDEA.
As an ACE certified trainer, you should have no problem getting insurance.
Good luck making it on your own. I commend you for your professionalism of wanting to secure liability insurance prior to continue training your client.

Hi Chris. There are several liability insurance companies that insure fitness professionals. As others have mentioned, the one affiliated through IDEA is a good one (you could probably also get information through your certifying agency). Most will insure you IMMEDIATELY via online application.
It’s a good idea to do a little shopping just to compare rates
Good luck.

Hello Chris Graham,
Congratulations; I am happy for you.
I have insurance through my certifying agency, ACE, which you may quickly apply for online:
