What ones are most useful for a job?

Look into PTA Global. It was created by a global team of trainers and carries weight in several countries.
You might look at the qualification requirements in the countries you anticipate teaching in. For example, the EU has a qualification process.

I would do research on ACE, ACSM and NASM
Take a look at what they offer and see which one is the best suited for you.
I must say that ACE is great because they have tons of resources and being a member of IDEA gives you support and unless resources

I Agree with Sue! ACE is great option and i know they have recognition internationally, but not 100% sure as to what extent. Good Luck!!

In terms of which certifications are most useful, the more difficult to obtain and detailed, the better. The most education you can get is always the best choice. Some require a college degree in a health related field and I would recommend those.
