I have clients that fit under all of those categories. However, most commonly I see clients twice a week. That is a good number to go by when a client is just starting out. If they are really motivated (and have the budget) I might see them three or four times a week. I encourage all new clients to see me twice a week when they are just getting started and then do a day at the gym on their own. After time has passed (and depending on their budget) they might see me once a week and hit the gym twice a week on their own. When they have reached their goals or have learned enough to go off on their own that usually concludes our sessions. However, most of my clients stick with me once a week even after reaching their goals to make sure they stay on track.
