What I do is get really practical about it.
If the client is brand new to health and fitness, I see them more often. In fact, I suggest a VIP Intensive so that I can take my time with them and get to really know what makes them tick.
So, it really depends.
I see most clients once or twice a week. Unless a client is dependent on my help (eg. a condition like MS), I encourage the client to only come once a week and to exercise at least one more by themselves.
Mathew, Good question. Others have answered this well so i will add something different.
IHRSA put out survey results at one point that said the Average in brick and mortar facilities trains clients 2.2 X per week.
I would be curious if this has changed with the increase in specialty studios and small group training. Even more interesting would be the online coaching frequency.
