One of the tips is “Offer Downloadable Apps”. Does anyone offer apps? Is it successful/lucrative? What App company do you using?
I am considering adding this to my offerings but I am not sure if it is worth the investment. I am evaluating Pump One. Does anyone use them? How are they? What other apps are you using and what is the return on them. I know I am asking a lot of questions but this is a new territory for me. Any info that you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
I’ve used the training notebook. I feel like it has reduced my mental load. All those clients, all the papers. Now I just use this app and I’ve got all my clients in one place, I create sign them up there, do assessments, and create programs and then run them. I can get to it from my iPad, and any computer.
Def recommend.
http://www.FitSW.com really has helped improve my personal training sessions. It works across iPad and Android devices. My client’s also love being able to track their weights and exercises and it makes things a lot easier than using the yellow cards my gym used to use. It is a quick signup, completely free (I tried a few on the list but then they limit features and charge a lot to use the pro version). FitSW.com provides online tools like workout tracking & organizing, goal/body measurement progress tracking (in very nice easy to read graphs), diet plan creation, allows you to provide demo videos for your clients and includes a scheduling system. Its made my job much easier and you can’t beat the fact that it is Free.
Linda, not sure if you’re still looking for a “downloadable app” to offer your clients, but if you are… you should try Trainerize.
You get your own iOS app, that you can have your clients download and access customized workout programs you send them. There’s a 30 day free trial… Would be interested in your thoughts on how you like it.
