The November 2012 IDEA Newsletter quotes a study that links childhood obesity and the length of a mother’s employment. Interestingly, the impact of a father’s employment is not studied. I’d like to hear your opinion on this subject.
There seems to be a link, with more parents working instead of staying home to raise the children. The parent stress must trickle down to the children, among so many other factors; time being the major culprit. Take care.
