I’m attempting to implement a weekly or monthly challenge to encourage clients to continue to stay active when they aren’t working out with us at the gym. The challenge is not all clients have the same level of advancement as others. Has anyone incorporated this at their gym? I was thinking if you complete a monthly challenge you would then be entered to win a raffle for a prize (t-shirt, foam roller, etc. etc.) but again, the problem is not all clients are the same, so one challenge may be difficult for one client while it’s entirely too easy for another client.
Logging is a great way to challenge our clients without specifying the intensity of a workout. You could focus on logging steps everyday, home exercises x number of days per week, stretching routines x number of days per week, cardio x number of days per week, food tracking, etc. The less you specify intensity, volume, and type of exercise, the more universal your challenges can be.
