Ryan, I guess easy is relative. That word easy kind of scares me as I don’t think there is easy money to be earned in our industry. However, to answer your question, I have two easily implemented ways to generate extra revenue provided that the fitness professional wants to utilize the products of the two companies that manufacture the product.
One of the products is a downloadable app that costs $6 and .10 for each use it relates to postural screening and it is fantastic! The fitpro must have the new generation iPod,iPad or iPhone in order to utilize this app. One can then charge a fee for a digitized postural assessment. The other a product I stock at my studio is called Kangoo Jumps. I love the product personally so I became an authorized dealer, I carry the product at my studio and sell it for profit.
Another thing I am seriously thinking about since I have already branded myself is to purchase small equipment and items. water bottles, t-shirts, small equipment and brand it with my company.
Lastly, I have a friend who is a fashion designer and I shared with him an idea that I have for a clothing line and he is super duper excited. He actually said I shouldn’t say anything to anyone so I can’t tell you. Who knows what might happen with this?
Thanks for your question.
