Mobile training without a car?
I would love to do more mobile training, but currently I am without a car (it is broken down and costs too much to fix). I live in Baltimore where public transit is pretty decent, but I would imagine that I can only go so far before taking public transit would be an obstacle to productivity (it is now that it takes me an hour to get to work at the gym). I’m sure I can carry resistance tubing and other lightweight equipment with me but does anyone have any practical ideas for starting my mobile business without a car (which will help me make enough money to buy a small cheap car)? Thanks in advance!
Hi Wendy how are things going lately? If you are a very religious person maybe you could find clients who believe in God and offer free consultation to church members after service? It’s not a good idea to mix religion and business publicly but on an individual basis it could work. I know of a bodybuilder who trained the pastor’s entire family and some other church members. The pastor even mentioned the training sessions during a sermon when he was talking about using the gifts that God has given us. That church was big on supporting each others businesses and there was a bulletin board for business cards. You might even find that your client is also a mentor to you in a non-exercise related domain.
