I would love to do more mobile training, but currently I am without a car (it is broken down and costs too much to fix). I live in Baltimore where public transit is pretty decent, but I would imagine that I can only go so far before taking public transit would be an obstacle to productivity (it is now that it takes me an hour to get to work at the gym). I’m sure I can carry resistance tubing and other lightweight equipment with me but does anyone have any practical ideas for starting my mobile business without a car (which will help me make enough money to buy a small cheap car)? Thanks in advance!
Wendy, you have a challenging situation.
I looked at your profile and noticed that you have two very different degrees. If I remember, you shared with the IDEA Fitness Connect community that you overcame obesity.
Have you ever thought about focusing on the communities where you are most familiar? History buffs (perhaps you can market your services to individuals in responsible positions at historical societies and do the same among individuals with an interest in business administration.
Perhaps you can include a blog on your IDEA Fitness Connect profile regarding health conscious historical figures. I don’t know who they are but I am sure you can find a correlation. Targeted marketing is designed to reach a specific population. Perhaps it might be a good idea to hold a boot camp based upon a historical event. You might need to be really creative.
Hope this is helpful to you.
