MindBody Online Software program for Personal Trainers with small clientele
Do you think it really is worth it when you have 10 or less clients to utilize the mindbodyonline.com software? I have 10 or less because I’ve just started out about 6 months now doing private personal training in my private studio.
MindBodyOnline.com has gotten amazing reviews, but because I have less than 10 clients at the moment (but can definitely benefit from letting my clients book their own appointments online as my and their schedule changes frequently and taking credit cards as payment is always a plus).
any thoughts? I’ve heard of styleseat which they have a special of $28 a month for the same thing (but it doesn’t let you customize and offer bundles/packages like I do with my current clients)
I just want the best bang for my buck and that will potentially help me grow as a personal trainer in the business aspect.

If you’re searching for a Mindbody alternative that’s completely tailored to the needs of the fitness industry: yoga studios, gyms, pilates studios and fitness studios (as opposed to salons and spas), this is what you need.
I know this was written a while ago, but I might be able help another small business owner who comes across this post.
GymMaster offers a free unlimited trial that can hold your member data and let you make bookings, record visits, and access reports to help you grow.
There are some features (like billing, access control and communication) that is reserved for paying customers, but the free version is being used successfully by thousands of small businesses all over the world.

Disclaimer, I work for the software company that developed GymMaster.
I do really like mindbody but you are right – for some individual trainers that might be overkill at their prices. One that I have recently been using is http://www.fitsw.com/. Mindbody was very nice and professionally done – FitSW seems more tailored for individual trainers / smaller gyms. Its free – just not quite as polished as Mindbody but still very good. It has excellent ways to track progress on your client’s fitness and does a great job at creating and recording workout plans and diet plans. I find it very helpful in helping me manage all my client’s info in one location. Try one of the smaller ones like FitSW- i think there are a few others – traineriz, ptstinction, etc. You will probably get pretty good results without all the cost of mindbody.
Influx is worth a shot. It currently starts at less than $10/week for the size of membership you mention: “software for people who love fitness, not computers”: https://influxhq.com
A key feature of Influx is the simplicity of use – especially for members booking into sessions/classes.
