Just got certified, now what’s my main priority?
Being certified shows you are serious, hopefully it’s a Nationally Accredited Certification.
I suggest getting involved in your community:become a member of groups that interest you.
Make up flyers and distribute them locally.
Figure out your “niche” and create your own success.
Offer your services to small groups, this is more affordable for people.
Keep your CEC’s current and evolve as you go.
Hi Armand,
Congratulations on getting certified. To answer your question – put your certification to use & start working. If you’re starting out at a gym – introduce yourself to members and start offering useful advice to them – that should help you get clients. Good luck Armand.

Hi Armand,
I gather from your reply that you are currently working at a gym and are not planning to strike out on your own (yet).
Remember that every interaction you have with another person at the gym is also observed by others. Let’s say you give somebody an orientation as many new trainers do for new members. Checking your email or text messages may be seen by another person even if the person you are training is not aware of it. Members in clubs talk to one another A LOT.
It may also be a good idea to strike up a good relationship with group fitness instructors who are often trusted sources for gym members. and their recommendations carry a lot of weight. Take their classes if you can. I hate to say it but men are a rarity in a group fitness class, and it will score some brownie points.
Good luck.

Hello Armand Koulouzian,
Congratulations; now is the time to be confident and true to yourself; use your training at all times; never stop learning; be professional at all times, on and off the clock.
To help find your way, answer these questions:
Why hire?
Why hire me?
Why hire me now?
This helped me come up with my mission statement. No worries, the enjoyable part is finding your niche as you work with different clients, who will most likely inspire you daily.
Take care,
Natalie aka NAPS 2 B Fit.
Let me add my congrats. Now that you are certified, GET BUSY. Building your business is your big challenge now. Be confident and truthful in every approach that you make. Tell your potential clients what you can do for them, with regard to both fitness and healthful living. Then follow through, that’s the tough part. It takes your commitment and dedication.
Good luck.
