That is a fine question. I am sure that the ISOPURE must justify there price somehow. I just purchased Whey protein, after doing some research. My intent was go get the most protein for the buck. Amino acid content was also important to me. Sounds like ISOPURE boosts no carbs.
What I bought is 130 calories for 33grams of powder with 3 grams of carbs. ISOPURE is about 210 calories per 61 grams and no carbs.
The digestability of the ISOPURE is faster but my lifestyle doesn’t need a change in the speed of my protein digestability. I try to use casein protein and hemp protein when I supplement but neither because they digest quickly. Casein protein will typically stay with you for around 7 or so hours, making it ideal for evening consumption; and hemp protein because it contains large amounts of globulin edistin, which has the enzymes necessary for the breakdown of and rebuilding of proteins.
