Is there any way to get questions or answers deleted?
After reading a few of the last posts, the questions (about handbags or developing websites for friends) have little to do with health, fitness, nutrition or wellness. Then a few of the answers, which were to their own question, use foul language. I’ve always thought of this site as a professional tool and would like to see it remain as such. Is there a way to flag these questions and answers to be deleted? I’d hate for the good intentions of the many to be ruined by the irresponsibility of a few.
Hi Jocelyn,
Thanks so much for the feedback. As a few people have mentioned, the flag function is really the best way to help us monitor which questions are inappropriate.
Questions that are flagged are reviewed daily and inappropriate questions are normally removed pretty quickly (within a few hours).
Thanks to everybody for helping us keep the questions and answers on topic.
Hi Jocelyn,
in a way, this site is monitored by all of us who are flagging inappropriate posts. I know that they are taken down very quickly by the website owner.

After teaching strength training classes for years, I have found that there always seems to be a few people who have a bad habit of not putting their weights away or preparing a workout station (i.e. cleaning) for the next person, or even using the space for which it is not designed. But when a greater majority of those using such resources take ownership and responsibility to do a little – such as everyone putting their own weights away, plus just one extra; the quicker it’s clean and more likely it remains organized for everyone’s benefit.
My assumption is that the more times a post is flagged as inappropriate the greater likelihood it will be removed, and the quicker that would happen as well. As such thank you to everyone who otherwise keeps this forum friendly, supportive and professional and additionally who takes time to flag the inappropriate or out of place comments as well.
Thumbs up for everyone!
