Is their enough stimulation to continually use body weight exercises to gain strength without lifting weights?

Of course… look at the gymnast but you must understand progression in the clients you are training. The key is to progress slowly over a long period of time but I believe to be this to be true no matter what the trainer uses.

Hello Kristy Prass,

Yes; but, like some of the others say, you will have to add more repetitions and almost hold the position longer moving very slowly. This depends on the goals.
How much time do you have?
Take care,
Natalie.

Depends on starting level and what you consider strength. If I did bodyweight only all of my lifts would go down, but my squat, deadlift, and good morning are all over 400lbs. There wouldn’t be enough of a stimulation for me, but for some people squatting the bar is difficult and double leg body weight squats progressed to single leg squats would be enough.

Sure as long as your joints can take it
Cross training and changing things up will keep things interesting

I always try to alternate body parts so wrists, for example, can rest if need be.
The variety is limitless.

Depends on your program. Depends how often you do that, depends on your goals, diet, nutrition and many other factors.

I’d say there’s definitely enough stimulation to keep gains as long as you keep your program progressively challenging.
