Is it true that not everyone can get “six-pack abs”?
Actually, not everyone can get the six pack look. No matter how low body fat they achieve. They will see muscle definition in the stomach, but only thick waisted people would have the six pack look.
The ironic part is, 6 pack never used to be the ideal. The ideal used to be a very narrow waist and broad shoulders. Broad shoulders tapered down to a thin narrow waist would almost never allow for a “6 pack.” Only thick waist people would have 6 pack or 8. Mainly the classic v shape might allow for the stomach muscles to show or a 4 pack at most. But the most ideal shape does not. For example: Steve Reeves had extremely low body fat and he did not have a true 6 pack. Because he had a very broad shoulder to narrow waist /hip ratio. The ideal “V-shape” for men that is called the “hourglass” for women.
