Is anyone using the workout builder
Hi Jeff,
I do use Workout Builder, although my training business both in-home and at a local Rec center and not online. After I have gone through a workout with a client, I create it send it to them for their program reference.
Did you have a question about the program, or just as it relates to online training?
Best,
Christine
I have used it for clients at the gym. A couple things I don’t like about it – some very basic exercises are not included, and if you send a print version the pictures are from somewhere in the video and not very helpful. I think it would work better for in home clients who would be more likely to watch the videos. It is also quite easy to add your own videos, but I’ve mostly been to lazy to do this.

Hey Jeff,
I use it to backup clients gym workouts as people have mentioned. Have also used PTonthenet. Both have their own issues. When PTonthenet had issues, they resolved it quickly. Why I prefer WB is it’s much easier for clients to read! And to view video. That said, recently (past 3 weeks) it’s had many issues. VERY frustrating when you are doing online workouts (and I do quite a few). I upload mostly my own videos as mentioned, the library isn’t complete but had to build a library w/PTonthenet too. This part is extremely time consumptive in the beginning: writing up your own descriptions (there are some great videos and exercises in WB with NO description at all). Cost effective~yes. But when it’s broken, horrible!!
It depends on what type of training you’re doing. I’d check PTonthenet, they’ve got an entire Gray Cook Library and also use some equipment that WB doesn’t…
All in all, happier as said with WB since clients like it much more. Feel free to PM me w/questions or check out some of the videos I have here.
Best,
Kimber
