industry standard for client referral fees
Maybe I should change my question to this
How would you handle the situation of a fellow trainer training a referred client ( by mistake??)
Have said trainer promis to refer their next client to you only to find that they then received a referral from the first client and did not follow through on the promise.
So I’m out potentially two clients who are training each 3x a week.
The original referral was from a long time client and was based on that relationship.
My thought to find some sort of resolution for myself was to ask for a 1 time ” referral fee” from this trainer for the initial “mistaken” client
