What has your experience been with Nutrition/Sports Nutrition Certs? From what I have seen, the certs simply combine a bunch of readily available information, package it as knowledge and sell it to you wrapped in a piece of paper you can hang on your wall.
I looking forward to hearing people’s reviews and experience! Thank you very much for taking the time to respond!
Hello DJ Guzda,
The best will be what suits both your needs as well as the needs of your prospective clients. That readily available information has been filtered into the correct, tried and true information. As we all know, not all data is correct or applicable to everyone. A certification proves that the person is knowledgable enough to help others without harm. Going farther, degrees show that the trainer has even more knowledge under their belt to help others. The decision is yours which may be assisted by a future employer.
Remember what Mark Twain said: be careful reading health books, you may die of a misprint.
