Id say the idea of it is great, but the execution is terrible.
In my experience the field is dominated by people who have gotten bachelors, masters, doctorates, certifications and licenses to practice but have ZERO experience in lifting.
Sure, on paper you can say what happens to the muscle when you go 80% of max for 12 reps.
Recognizing what a person looks at for 80%? Realizing a person cant do an amount? Understanding they could do much more? Nope.
They may know how to do a squat, but not the 5 varieties of it.
People need to do the classwork but put time in they gym to really understand how the body works.
