In the “ta-das”, with R leg back, to which side do we turn to look over which shoulder?
You should see me sitting here in my chair trying to figure out what move you’re doing, LOL! I’m imagining a lunge or calf stretch with the right foot back and both arms in the air like, “Ta dah!” So hopefully that’s it. If that’s not the move, maybe describe what you’re doing a little more thoroughly.
Assuming that’s correct, from that position there are two variations that my body likes.
1) Rotate head, heck, torso, and arms to the left to look over left shoulder, so you’re getting a really nice transverse plane stretch. Great for hip flexors!
2) Lateral flexion – reach right hand high and left hand low, shifting the ribs to the left. Head turn could be down (easier on balance) or up.
I hope that gives you some ideas.
