If you had to drink something that you wanted to add Brewers yeast to, what would you suggest?
My mother used to take Brewer’s yeast, oh, 40 years ago. As I recall she got it in capsules. I seem to remember smelling and tasting it, and finding it was rather bitter, which I guess is the source of your question. I suppose using the capsules would be my first choice. Something with fruit, or maybe yoghurt would be my second choice, as the pungency of the yoghurt, or the sweetness of the fruit would likely mask it a bit. The thing is, if you put the spoonful in your drink, you then have to drink the whole thing, and if you take it with just a spoon of yoghurt you can then have your drink afterward, which might be nicer.
I have also heard of nutritional yeast, which is nutritionally different, but tastes better, and may be good for some people (but always good to check with a nutritionist first)
btw, I looked up an info sheet for you. I do think the best thing is to check with a nutritionist before trying something like this, as there can always be issues if one is on some medicine, or questions on how best to integrate something into one’s diet. (though you may have done that already, and just be trying to think how to make it palatable)

good luck.
Hi Lizzie,
I’m with Natalie & would think that a smoothie is the way to go. With the blenders out there these days, you could probably throw in a brick & it would grind up & dissolve.
