If you spend $50/mo you’ll start to be found on the internet in not too long (depending on where you live and how competitive the market is there). Options are Google adwords, being on paid directories, and paying someone (if you don’t have the time) to put you on free directories. There are many options, but the best bang for your buck is almost always online.
I would budget more than $50.
Depends on your niche.. a lot of marketing can be done for free if you just do the footwork. Start with local businesses and try to do something where you can advertise them if they advertise you with a small referral fee. Start with a target market analysis then work on what marketing you can afford.
