If there were areas to improve or make things easier in your fitness business what would they be and why?
Hey everyone, been reading these forums but never signed up! I wanted to ask you all as I’ve been running my own business in London, UK and feel its crucial to work on my weak areas or make things even easier to operate when approaching a particular hurdle. Would be great to see what problems you have or even the solutions you would love to have. Thanks! Stuart
I agree with Beverly. One of the biggest issues I have is trying to do everything. This is also true for many trainers I have worked for in the past. I get it in my head that I can do everything myself. Then I become less effective at the things that I am actually good at. Figure out the 2-3 things that you do best, and stick to doing those things. For me, marketing is my nemesis. Instead of trying to force myself to do something I am horrible at, I am trying to find ways to find people who are good at those things. I will sometimes feel bad about passing the things off that I don’t enjoy doing, but then I realize there are people who thrive off of the things I am horrible at. By empowering them, and me sticking to what I am good at, I enable my entire business to become much more successful.
Hi Stuart,
I have an in-home training business & probably have a different set of problems than you do if you have a facility. I think you might be better off re-phrasing your question about the specific problems and hurdles that you’re facing and I’m sure you’ll get some answers. I say that with all due respect because I see that nobody has responded yet to your question & there are many good resources in this forum. Let the room know what’s going on with your business & what you specifically need help with – hope to hear from you soon Stuart.
