if I purchase a certificate now while it is on sale, how much time do I have before it must be completed

No…I would not first purchase the cert without knowing how long I have to complete the testing to earn it. I am too busy right now studying for the GFI certification exam through ACE. I expect to sit for the exam in December or January. I would like additional certification to work with Seniors and IDEA was offering a discount…maybe it is too late to get the 40% discount, now that my question took so long to get answered from you.
