If I hire Independent contractors who happen to have their own LLC do I still have to provide them with the 1099 correct?
I lease a suite where I put my Personal Training Studio in Oviedo Florida. I am hiring Independent Contractors. I know that some people dont han LLC busines, however I came across someone who does have an LLC business as personal trainer and he wants to grow his business bhe would like to do it in my Studio. At first I was thinking of subleasing however I am not the owner of the suite and my lease has sstrict rules about subleasing which Im not willing to break. For LLC I do have to provide him with a 1099 correct or he does that himself? Thank you for any feedback
Evie
I will say the same. Their being LLC does not change your 1099 responsibility. If they were not employees, then you are to provide 1099.
I will add that it’s unlikely anyone on this thread will be providing you professional advice. I urge you to consider confirming with a cpa and/or tax attorney.
In short, this is not a legal forum.
