If a client needs to meet his caloric needs by 9pm, should he eat that late?

l will keep the answer short since I know nothing about your client and what his schedule and goals are. Referring him to a RD so she/he can help him find better ways of meeting his caloric needs during the day might be the best option. Usually eating late and especially right before going to bed is not recommended, but like I’ve mentioned I’m not sure what you client’s goals are and/or if he has any medical condition that would require for him to eat late.
