Idea- Personal Trainer on Property here at my apartment complex
I got the permission from my apartment complex to train clients on property which is super awesome! I am trying to figure out how I can promote my services to residents without soliciting flyers door to door. I thought of holding a community event in our clubhouse to promote my service by building trust and rapport in a group setting. In the event, I would give them the what, why, and how. It would most likely be 1 and 1/2 hour of presentation and 1/2 hour of commingling. The content of this event would be to find out what it is they need to getting physically active and feeling better about their health. I would then share my suggestions based on my knowledge and experience to help promote the possibilities to giving them the results they need. With that being said, I would provide exercise demonstrations(modifications and specific exercises to gain strength in certain areas) and explain the benefits in exercising. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Is anyone currently a PT in their apartment complex or housing community?
This thread had some interesting information in it.

Wow, it sounds like you already have some great ideas for getting yourself launched.
You might already have this, but if you don’t have apparel with your business name and logo, you might want to get some and start wearing it whenever you’re in the clubhouse or gym area.
If you can’t put up signs / bulletin boards, would they let you put up your own little sandwich board that you could put up while you’re training and take down when you leave? I’ve seen trainers do this at parks. “Training in session. For more info, call ____.”
