I would like to know what certification is needed to become an aquatic fitness instructor? I am in Georgia

I am recently retired and am active and looking for a new career that involves fitness. I used to be a swim instructor and swim coach “way back when” during college.

Hi Cheryl,

many organizations will certify you for aquatic fitness but my vote would go to the Aquatic Exercise Association http://www.aeawave.com/PublicPages/Certification/AEACertification.aspx which has a very good reputation. My reason is that they are specializing in water fitness rather it being one of many options.
