(above answer applies only with respect to licensing requirements for Zumba, not for a primary group-ex certification or other fitness formats)
If you need more specific Zumba info, the license support team can be reached at [email protected]
If you are looking to return to Zumba, it depends on your current status.
Did you join ZIN at the time you got your license and if so, are you still a ZIN? If you’re still a ZIN and you feel ready to return to teaching, you are good from a licensing standpoint.
If you were a ZIN but left ZIN, or if you never joined ZIN to begin with, then you’d need to take your basic Zumba license course (B1) again. Without joining ZIN, your B1 license is good for one year, at which point you would either retake B1 or take B2.
Hi Esteleta,
There’s no sin in taking time off, but did you fulfill your certification requirements? If not, you’re going to have to re-do it. Certification organizations are big businesses & that’s just how it goes – don’t get me started! Good luck Esteleta.
