When I signed up for the class it said I would get a free AFAA Mag subscription

What organization presented the class? If it was given through IDEA you could call them at: 1 800 999 4332. If it was presented by AFAA you could try their subscription problem line: 1-800-446-2322 ext. 609

Otherwise contact the company that presented the workshop.

Contact AFAA directly. Membership in AFAA comes with a subscription to American Fitness magazine. Being certified by AFAA is not the same as membership–the two have different fees–and certified instructors do not automatically receive American Fitness. If you were supposed to receive the magazine, it is possible that your address on file is incorrect. Give AFAA a call, and they will help you out.
