I recently became certified as a Melt Method Hand and Foot instructor and will continue with more training in the fall.
I have BS degree in Health and Physical Education as well as an AS in Nursing. I do have an active RN license. Do I need a personal trainers certification to be accepted for liability insurance coverage or to be accepted in the fitness arena to teach this method? Melt Method does come with a certification.
Hi Carol,
welcome on board. I am also a MELT instructor.
You come with a different background from most of us. I was already a personal trainer before and, of course, had insurance. M insurance covers MELT.
If you have some form of liability insurance for your nursing practice, I would check with that insurance company to see if MELT would be covered as an adjunct therapeutic method.
