I need to loose about 10 pounds in 1 month. How?
I am doing jillian michaels yoga meltdown for 1 hour every day for the past 8 days.I am currently on steroids s/p renal transplant. I gained 2 pounds in this 8 days. I feel depressed. Since I am on steroids I cant perform weight bearing exercise. Can anyone suggest? after weighing myself I dont feel like exercising anymore
Take Proper care of your diet. Yoga is good for health so continue it but it should be done in right manner. Include cardio in your workout. If you want then you can take some natural weight loss supplement like green tea, green coffee bean, and white kidney bean. These products can work as fast fat burners and give you good results.
Hi Sirisha,
I can understand your feeling of being depressed after doing an exercise routine for an hour per day (whatever it is) and then having gained two pounds at the end of it.
Losing 10 lbs. of weight in a month (and keeping it off) is optimistic at best of circumstances, and your situation is different. My colleagues have already recommended that you have this issue taken up with a physician and/or dietitian, so there is nothing for me to add to that.
What I want to address, though, is your comment that you don’t feel like exercising any more. Your experience certainly seems unfair; having put in a effort, and being so poorly re-payed for it. But don’t forget that exercise does more for you than what you can see on the scale. Improving body composition, for example, does not show up on a scale, and neither do better strength and flexibility.
Try not to let the number on the scale take control of how you feel or feel about yourself.
I wish you a happy and healthy New Year.

Sirisha,
I really think you should consider working with an ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist. (ACSM RCEP).
An individual who holds this credential has a deep understanding of developing exercise programs for people living with clinical conditions. Furthermore, the exercise programs he/she develops are safe.
Additionally, you might want to also consider working with a health or wellness coach to assist you in identifying the main reasons you want to change.
I hope this is of help to you.
Hello Sirisha,
You may have better luck working with professionals, as the others suggest.
If I may…since you do not feel like exercising after weighing yourself, then…do not weigh yourself. Rather, go by how your clothes fit.
There is much to discuss about weight loss and doing it properly.
Talk to and work with a trainer, dietitian and doctor for best results.
Why do you need to lose the weight faster than two pounds a week?
Good luck and keep up the fighting spirit.
