I like Dotster however it is less complicated to buy the domain name through the hosting site that you choose. My hosting plan cost me less than $7/month plus it’s a business write off. There are a lot of hosting sites out there that are free or very inexpensive. You can design your own site using tools that are Microsoft based and you don’t need to know html. Also, start a Facebook Fanpage, Twitter, and LinkedIn. All are free and give you the opportunity to connect outside of your current circle. You can also link them together and invite new contacts to follow you. In my experience, I feel like a clean professional web site is crucial and if you don’t have one you risk losing business.
