I need to a new website, but I don’t have a lot of overhead right now. Any suggestions for an inexpensive website service.
Hi Masha. There are several services out there that have ‘template’ websites that allow you to simply plug-in your information and then it creates the site for you. When I first started out, I used Yahoo’s Sitebuilder which seemed pretty easy to use (I since have moved on to another service). There are others, so I would suggest you conduct a simple online search for website templates to see what your options are. The key is that the end product looks good, looks professional, and presents you and your training practice in its best light. In my opinion, since this is the first thing that many new potential clients will see of you, you want it to represent you well.
Good luck!

I looked at quite a few website services before deciding to go with wix.com. My mother uses godaddy.com for her website and I was wasn’t very pleased with the ease of use. As far as price went I paid $150 for a whole year of hosting + my own domain ($12.50 a/mo). This was the easiest template I have ever worked with and almost all of my questions could be answered through the FAQ section or by googling “how do I add X to my wix” etc.
Since you mention “inexpensive” I assume price is your top factor in choosing?
If so I believe they have less expensive plans (8 or so a/mo) that offer less storage (i.e. you can only host 2gb worth of data on your site).
All of the above is assuming you have your own domain or are looking at having your own domain. If you do not want your own domain there are also many free hosting services (wix.com does this too).

Hello Masha,
I replied this answer to a previous question posted by another member:
I used Sitecube in the past because it was “flash” capable, domain registerable and I was able to set up a store front to sell merchandise.
That said…if these features are not important to you, then I would use IDEAFIT as your website.
