What is more beneficial for an Online Instructor Training? A Manual and Video modules, or just video? If I include both do I go in order of the manual or just have the manual as a reference? People have suggested that I simply use my outline that I use for my LIVE Instructor Trainings that I teach but it’s harder than it seems. Want to give enough content but not too much that this course will take me a year to develop. Suggestions?
Martin: And, if I were to put together an online course, I already have videos several of my live classes that I use to improve my presentations. So, I would most likely edit that material to put together a sort of “greatest hits” video for the online course.
Oreet: Awesome, yes I have these as well. Great tip!
Martin: I would ask past attendees and students that I have kept in touch with to give me feeedback as well.
Oreet: Ahh yes. I forget sometimes to pull from my own resources such as my students. Another great tip!
Martin: Just remember, you can edit and change things for a long time. Don’t let working on this project get out of control. You should set a deadline for when you will finish it and try to stick to that deadline.
Oreet: Yes I hear this all the time. It’s hard to put out a product that is less than perfect but you are correct. Thank you for your time!
