What is more beneficial for an Online Instructor Training? A Manual and Video modules, or just video? If I include both do I go in order of the manual or just have the manual as a reference? People have suggested that I simply use my outline that I use for my LIVE Instructor Trainings that I teach but it’s harder than it seems. Want to give enough content but not too much that this course will take me a year to develop. Suggestions?
I am answering this from the perspective of what I would want to see as a potential student. I would want to see both, and that is in part because of my own learning style which always likes written material.
I see that you teach Bellydance (of which I know very little). I could see a manual with a library of components that your instructors could use to create their own choreography, for example. In that case, the manual I am envisioning here would be a kind of reference and not necessarily a course outline.
Sounds like a lot of fun.
