I have an even better website. You can create and download your OWN selections…Not music somebody else selected. Great website….
And, you can use each song up to three time to create another CD or MP3 download….great, huh?
I love ClickMix as well but if you have a smartphone, you can download an app called Tempo Magic & you can adjust the beats per minute to your own music library on your phone. You can increase or decrease the tempo 12% either direction. It’s really a very cool app. I paid $4.99 for it & it’s worth it.
The speed really depends on several factors such as the fitness level and age of your students, how advanced your class is, and the type of moves you are wanting to incorporate into your workout.
Ranges can be anywhere from 120 – 135 bpms based on the above factors.
You want to have different line ups of music so that you are prepared in case you have a lot of new people come to a class – you can take it down a level and introduce them to the class and watch their form. On the other hand, if you have a class with your seasoned athletes, keep a higher bpm mix and step it up for them.
