I have a masters degree in exercise physiology and am interested in a career using MAT, what do I need to do?
Karin,
Yes true except for one thing. There is no scope of practice for personal trainers. That is the problem and why I posted my response and another previous question.
There has to be a standard for all personal trainers. The time has come to truly define what a personal trainer can and can’t do. Which will raise the standard helping everyone, including the most important person, the client. It will bring the professions of physical therapy and personal training closer together where more respect and collaboration can take place. Most importantly,
places personal trainers at a higher level of respect. Respect is earned in any industry as I am sure you would agree.
Cheers
