I have a client who broke a finger, and the finger is in a splint. Suggestions on how to still work her out?
Hi Melissa,
I often use cuffs around the wrists and attach resistance there. Works great with cable tower but can be made to work with bands and tubing.

Hi Melissa. In addition to concentrating on her lower body and core work, you may TRY having her perform push-pull type exercises for her upper body using weighted medicine balls. Not having seen your client, I don’t know the extent of her ability to use her hands, but in my opinion the medicine ball at least allows her to grip it with her entire hands, not just the fingers. You may try this with her to see how it feels. In any event, this is NOT the time to try to make upper body strength GAINS with this client, so even if you use the medicine ball, I would keep it LIGHT and keep it SIMPLE.
I hope that this helps.
