While I love the answer from LaRue, I would like to add that unless you have documented baseline body measurements/ photos you won’t have progress to focus on. Genetic predisposition dictates where an individual stores fat first and loses fast first. Also five months is plenty of time for hypertrophy of quadriceps so why not address body fat loss? It’s very important to document baseline measurements for clients if you want to be able to prove results and focus on progress. Otherwise the mind will play tricks on her and we all know how women can obsess. Show her proof that she is improving and keep her in the right direction. Exercise adherence relies on proof!
